| Time: 11:00 pm Place: At Campsites | To properly immerse ourselves in the medieval, there will be an opportunity to listen and perform ballads around campfires. Let's fill our bellies with warm wine and good drink, and tell each other tales of old. |
Saturday |
The TournamentThe Tournament will be a four part event that allows teams to participate in a series of activities to present their Epics to the rest of the festival. The Quiz |
| Time: 12:00 pm Place: Under the Canopy | The Quiz will consist of each team preparing 5 questions relating to their Tales. These questions should be detailed, allowing the other teams a chance to figure out the answer without necessarily knowing the specifics. We recommend avoiding basic trivia, and focus more on the deeper lore, as this is a chance for each team to present some interesting aspects of their chosen epic. Teams will submit their questions in advance, along with the answers. If teams need help, they can reach out for assistance. For those who wish to play but are not part of a participating team may form their own groups and play along! |
“The Round Table” |
| Time: 1:00 pm Place: In the C field | The Round Table is an opportunity for teams to show off the national dishes of their chosen epics. Each team will be assigned a pop up canopy, from which they will be able to serve their cultural delicacies. We also see this as an opportunity for teams to show off costumes that relate to those cultures, another way for others to immerse themselves into the setting of your epic. |
Ballads |
| Time: 2:00 pm Place: In the C field Amphitheater | The Ballads is an opportunity to perform a rendition of your hero's journey in our amphitheater. Teams will have five minutes to present, and there are no limits to the format of their presentation. Teams can entertain the masses with monologues, poetry, songs, or theater, using whatever format to regale the audience with their epic tales. The throwing of tomatoes is strictly prohibited! |
Physical Challenge |
| Time: 3:00 pm Place: In the C field Amphitheater | The Physical challenge is not a team event, and will allow anyone who wishes to join in the fun! We will have a series of games to participate in to see if there are those amongst us that can truly call themselves mighty heroes! For those training to be squires, there will also be a series of activities and challenges. |
